This is a nice little witch story for upper elementary and middle grade girls. Anna was raised in an orphanage and goes to a private school because a trust fund has been left to care for her. Some of her friends have been adopted by a rich couple in town and though they won't say what is wrong, Anna knows that there is something not right about that family. When she learns that she is a witch she decides to save her friends and the other children by using her magic. She must be careful only to use good, kind magic rather than evil magic though.
