The author tells the story of her life as a psychic, but the story is as much about her strange, sad family life as it is about her psychic abilities and readings. All in all, her story is rather depressing. Her mother never showed her any affection and Suzan's love life and personal life was a mess. The psychic readings scattered throughout make it more interesting.
